Mobile app

Start Delivery with BaseLink

On a delivery stop in the mobile app, connect BaseLink, select a fuel type, then tap Start Delivery. The button stays disabled until BaseLink is connected.

Open the delivery stop from the continue-deliveries workflow. The fill screen attempts a BaseLink connection when it opens.

  1. From your continue deliveries list, open the delivery stop for the load you are filling.

  2. Wait for the silent BaseLink connection attempt. When it succeeds, the app loads available registers and can auto-select the first register and first fuel type.

  3. If you need to connect through the BaseLink connection flow, use the BaseLink connection modal on this screen.

Start Delivery stays disabled until BaseLink is connected.

Select fuel type

Choose the fuel type for this fill before you start. Registers load after BaseLink connects; fuel types follow from the selected register.

  • Select Fuel Type — pick the product you are delivering.

  • Loading fuel types... — fuel types are still loading after the register is ready.

  • No fuel types available — the connected register has no fuel types to choose.

If the connection succeeds and fuel types load, the first register and first fuel type can be selected automatically. Confirm the selection before you start.

Start Delivery

With BaseLink connected and a fuel type selected, tap Start Delivery.

  1. Confirm BaseLink is connected and the fuel type (and register) are selected.

  2. Tap Start Delivery.

  3. On success, the app shows Delivery started successfully.

If start fails, the app shows Error starting delivery: followed by the detail. Without a connection, register, or fuel type, the guard message is Please connect to BaseLink and select register/fuel type.

After you start, the app waits 3 seconds. If status is still stopped or paused after that wait, the start is treated as failed and loading is cleared — see troubleshooting below.

Pause, resume, and stop

Delivery controls follow the current status on the fill screen.

Status

Controls

Active

Pause and Stop

Paused

Resume and Stop

Stopped

Start Delivery again

Result messages:

  • Pause: Delivery paused successfully, Failed to pause delivery, or Error pausing delivery: plus detail

  • Resume: Delivery resumed successfully, Failed to resume delivery, or Error resuming delivery: plus detail

  • Stop: Stop command sent, Failed to stop delivery, or Error stopping delivery: plus detail

  • Complete: Fill-up completed! with the gallons delivered

Resume a paused fill from the fill screen with Resume, or use Resume load on the load card for paused loads. A paused load cannot complete until it is unpaused. Dispatchers can also pause or unpause from load detail — see Editing a Load.

For how loads and deliveries fit the wider workflow, see Loads Overview.

Troubleshoot start and delivery controls

Use these checks when Start Delivery stays disabled, start fails or stalls, or the delivery is paused.

Start Delivery stays disabled

Symptom: Start Delivery cannot be tapped.

Cause: The button stays disabled until BaseLink is connected.

Fix: Stay on the delivery stop fill screen so the silent connection attempt can finish, or complete the BaseLink connection modal. When connection succeeds, registers load and the button can enable after fuel type selection.

Start stalls after 3 seconds

Symptom: Loading continues after you tap Start Delivery, then clears without an active delivery.

Cause: After start, the app waits 3 seconds. If status is still stopped or paused, the start is treated as failed and loading is cleared.

Fix: Confirm BaseLink is still connected and the fuel type is selected, then tap Start Delivery again. If the delivery is paused, resume first (see below), then start if status is stopped.

Delivery is paused and will not complete

Symptom: Controls show Resume and Stop, or the load card shows a paused load. Completion is blocked.

Cause: A paused delivery or paused load cannot complete until it is unpaused.

Fix: On the fill screen, tap Resume (success: Delivery resumed successfully). For a paused load from the list, use Resume load on the load card. A dispatcher can also pause or unpause from load detail in Editing a Load.

Start, pause, resume, or stop returns an error

Symptom: You see one of these messages:

  • Error starting delivery: plus detail

  • Failed to pause delivery or Error pausing delivery: plus detail

  • Failed to resume delivery or Error resuming delivery: plus detail

  • Failed to stop delivery or Error stopping delivery: plus detail

Cause: The command did not complete on the connected BaseLink session or delivery status.

Fix: Read the detail after the colon when present. Confirm BaseLink is connected, the status matches the control you used (Active for Pause/Stop, Paused for Resume/Stop, Stopped for Start Delivery), then retry the same control. Success messages are Delivery started successfully, Delivery paused successfully, Delivery resumed successfully, and Stop command sent.
